Happy Mothers Day 2007

Breakfast Ideas

Help your kids along the way to a successful breakfast in bed by providing the ingredients in the kitchen for them to easily make you a delicious tray of goodies to enjoy on Sunday morning.

Following are some ideas for you to buy from the supermarket and leave out on the bench or at the front of the fridge on Saturday night! These ideas do not require the stove to prepare.

Love Heart Cookie Cutter - makes even toast look like a special treat for mum.

Waffles - can buy them ready to pop in the toaster and serve with maple syrup and ice cream.

Pikelets - use the love heart cookie cutter and serve with some butter and jam.

Crumpets -  toasted, butters and golden syrup

English Muffins or Croissants - filled with ham and cheese and put in a flat sandwich toaster.

Strawberries or Frozen Berries - use them to make smoothies or on the waffles or pikelets.

Fruit Juice (one you like!)

Toasted Muesli and Yoghurt - easy to put in a bowl topped with some banana.

'Pick a flower and you will see the jobs you'll pick this week for me'

Flower Posy - Make a fun flower posy for mum out of cup cake papers and drinking straws. No need to water and they will last forever.

Kitchen Angel - When you are having one of those days, make a point of glancing at the fridge to remember that although your children aren't always angels, sometimes they come pretty close. Make these cute angels with photos of your children, put them up on the fridge and use them to hold messages to or from them.
