What's in our Cooking Projects?

Each Clever Little Cooks Project package is addressed to your child and contains a fun cooking project to create. Each project has a theme based on countries, holidays, celebrations or events that occur all over the world throughout the year. Select from our list of themes on the left to read about each of our 24 themes we currently have available.

The Recipe Cards (more..) outline what tools and ingredients you will need,  then have easy to follow step by step directions including photos and a picture of the final product. Each card is laminated so you simply wipe them clean and file them away to be used again.

The Re-usable Utensil is specifically used in the preparation, cooking or eating of the recipes for the project.  Build up your child's collection of utensils, a fun suggestion is to have a drawer or container to keep all their cooking utensils.

Your Shopping List has all the ingredients you will need to cook the recipes so you can tick off the ones you have in the pantry or fridge then take it to the shops. It has a magnet on the back so pop it on the fridge.

Each cooking project includes a Theme Facts Sheet containing interesting facts about the theme that you can go through with the child so they learn about different cultures, celebrations and foods. It will also include any additional directions or tips for the adult helper if needed.

A Craft Activity is included with each project, the craft activity is based on the theme of the project, for example, the craft activity for the Spanish Project is to make paper mache maracas.
