Halloween is on October 31st, the last day of the Celtic calendar. It was originally a pagan holiday. Halloween was referred to as All Hallows Eve and dates back to over 2000 years ago. This month learn all about the history of Halloween, make spooky decorations and cook up some ghoulish treats.

Halloween is one of the most popular holidays celebrated in the USA, UK and Ireland. While it is not very common in Australia and New Zealand we will have some fun this October with all the symbols of Halloween including:

Trick-or-Treats
Jack-O-Lanterns
Fancy Dress Costumes
Black Cats, Bats, Witches, Owls, Skeletons, Ghosts
Party Invitations and Cards

This Clever Little Cooks Project includes recipes for Eye Ball Spaghetti with Pea Slime Sauce and a Dirty Worm Cake.
