Waitangi Day is the New Zealand national day celebrated each year on the
6th February. Waitangi Day commemorates the signing of the Treaty of
Waitangi on February 6, 1840. New Zealand is in the Southern Hemisphere and lies in the South-West of the Pacific Ocean. It is comprised of two major Islands (North and South) and a number of lesser islands. Come with us and learn all about the history of New Zealand and all things Kiwi. Our recipes are a classic of Fush 'n Chups (Fish and Chips in Kiwi) and of course a dessert made using the hairy Kiwi Fruit called Creamy Kiwi Fruit Mousse. |
