Waitangi Day (New Zealand)
 

Waitangi Day is the New Zealand national day celebrated each year on the 6th February. Waitangi Day commemorates the signing of the Treaty of Waitangi on February 6, 1840.

New Zealand is in the Southern Hemisphere and lies in the South-West of the Pacific Ocean. It is comprised of two major Islands (North and South) and a number of lesser islands.
