The 2008 Summer Olympics, officially known as the Games of the XXIX Olympiad, are an international multi-sport event, that were held in Beijing, People's Republic of China from 8th August to the
24th August, 2008, and was followed by the 2008 Summer Paralympics from 6th - 17th September.
